Bartra is fast becoming one of the largest providers of Social Housing in Ireland. The Irish Government has set an ambitious target of an additional 50,000 new social homes over the life term of the government, a significant portion of which will be leased by local authorities under a standardised 25 year Enhanced Lease.

Bartra is developing new high quality, custom built homes to be leased by local authorities under this scheme. Bartra has put in place an experienced multi-disciplinary team to deliver its existing pipeline of five projects/340 homes and intends to provide in excess of 1,000 energy efficient social and affordable homes in the next four years, 400 of which will be delivered by the end of 2021. Bartra are actively engaging with the relevant stakeholders to deliver an even greater number of homes in this space.
